Russian Hansa Days
Upcoming II Russian Hansa Days are planned to held in Belozersk Town (Vologda Region) in the frameworks of anniversary celebration of the Town's Day in August 23-26, 2012. It is expected the participation of delegations of the Russian cities - official members of the international Hansa Leagueof the New Times, members of the Union of Russian Hanseatic cities: Veliky Novgorod, Veliky Ustyug, Vologda, Ivangorod, Kaliningrad, Kingisepp, Pskov, Smolensk, Torzhok, Tikhvin, Tver'. In addition to the official delegations headed by the Mayors, some amateur groups, masters of arts and crafts, artists, journalists, youth will come as well. The Program of the II Russian Hansa Days in Belozersk includes the formal part for the delegates as well as cultural and entertainment activities to a wide range of residents and visitors. Medieval atmosphere of the festival will be created by a historical reconstruction team "The Epics of Beloozero." A separate program is being developed for members of the Youth Hansa.
